1) A stick measurement request is limited to one per team per stoppage in play.
2) Altered uniforms of any type are not permitted and a player wearing an altered uniform will not be allowed to play.

a) Sticks are to be made of wood or other approved materials. Tape of any colour may be applied to aid in puck control. The goaltenders stick must have a knob of tape, or other protective material no less than ½ inch thick at the top of the shaft. This is for the benefit of other players protection from being struck by the sharp end of the goalie stick. If a goalie's stick is found to be in default of this rule he must change sticks, with no penalty.

b) Sticks cannot be longer than 63 inches from the heel to the end of the shaft, and no more than 12.5" from the heel to the tip of the blade. The blade cannot be more than 3", or less than 2" thick. Notes:

1) A team captain or alternate captain may call for a stick measurement. If such a call is made, the referee will take the stick to the penalty box where the appropriate measurements will be taken. The results are recorded on the back of the penalty record. If the complaint is not sustained then the complaining club will be assessed a bench minor penalty an a $100.00 fine.

2) A player cannot interfere with play if he is taking a replacement goal stick to his goalie while play is in progress. If he does he will be given a bench minor. A request for a stick measurement is allowed at any time during regulation and overtime play, but it is not permitted after a goal in overtime. If a player deliberately breaks his stick or refuses to allow it to be inspected, he will be given a minor penalty, a 10 minute misconduct and a $200.00 fine.
